How To Add Contextual Affiliate Links To Your Blog Posts Automatically

Automatically link your affiliate links Blog PostsWhen it comes to making money online it’s hard to go past affiliate marketing. It’s one way you can consistently make profits without even having a product.

Bloggers, niche website owners, and other web entrepreneurs all rely on affiliate marketing as part of an important monetization strategy for their sites.

It’s no surprise then that some of these people turn their thoughts to automating the process.

Automating affiliate marketing is something that you should treat carefully around. You don’t want to be thought of as a spammer when promoting your affiliate products.

Sometimes though you really need to see how you can get your tools working harder for you and that’s what I’m going to talk about today.

Automatically adding affiliate links

Automatically adding affiliate links to blog posts and articles throughout a website is something that we have long shied away from here at ThirstyAffiliates, but we’ve recently had a rethink.

Many of our customers were asking for ways to leverage their time when it comes to populating their large blogs with affiliate links.

Often new customers would purchase our product and would be integrating it into an existing site.

Automatically linking up keywords with affiliate links is one way of instantly populating a site with relevant and contextual affiliate links.

In this light, we decided to create our most recent addon, the ThirstyAffiliates Autolinker.

ThirstyAffiliates Autolinker

The Autolinker addon plugin adds functionality to ThirstyAffiliates that lets users add a list of keywords to be automatically linked.

Once entered, ThirstyAffiliates then populates your blog posts and page with affiliate links wherever it finds a mention of that keyword.

There’s also some fancy controls for adjusting how this happens throughout the site as well, including limiting the number of links generated.

Automatic linking isn’t bad, it’s efficient when done right

Let’s shrug off the stigma that autolinking is just about pushing more and more links down your prospect’s throats.

It really is a great tool for automatically populating a large website with relevant links when it’s done right.

There’s just a few things to remember when doing it:

  1. Only use relevant keywords with your links
  2. Don’t link up useless words
  3. Limit the number of links populated, about 3 seems to be a sweet spot

So go and check out our Autolinker addon, there’s a full description on the pricing page.
